Eating contest
Three time eating contest champion Fred Robinson was dethroned in this years four course competition by Larry Blomberg. The contestants competed in four speed based rounds: two breakfast burritos, top ramen, three jelly-filled powdered donuts and a brick of Spam. In addition to gloating rights and perhaps a stomach ache, Blomberg was awarded a $25 gift card to The Bookaneer.
Blacklight dodgeball
16 teams of at least four played blacklight dodgeball for Pirate Pete Week.
In the end team “PC alum” with Dan Swanson won the tournament. Each of the top three teams received varying prizes.
