Campus Voices – What do you think about forced vaccinations considering recent measles outbreaks such as the one at Disneyland?

15FEB-beth Beth Connelly
“I think it’s a pretty fair requirement. If you’re going to a school where you have a ton of people in a small space, it just makes sense. I’m not a fan of overregulation by the government. But I think vaccinating your children is the responsible thing to do.”
15FEB-teddy Teddy Jaramillo
“That’s not something to be scared of. People are so frightened of having autistic children. It’s like your ableism is showing. Everybody can see it, and it’s disgusting. And then you heard about that measles outbreak, right? There’s a reason we all get vaccinated.”
15FEB-john John Gravette
“They shouldn’t be forced.
If god wanted people to be vaccinated then we would be vaccinated. It’s probably a world population control thing. I mean who knows, but I don’t trust the government.”

“I think it’s just to help everyone else out and it’s just safer. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I could see how some people might kind of freak out. And the cost of vaccinations. Is it going to be paid for by the school, or not? Overall it’s for the best.”
