The aroma from a BBQ grill surrounded Peninsula College on May 25.

Students and their families were invited to join in the festivities of the 2016 Spring Bash, for free.

Behind the Pirate Union Building, future Associated Student Counsel President Zak Hoskins manned the grill as music played in the background.

Radiant sunlight reflected off the water from the fountains.

A volleyball net was set up and became a favorite among students.

Bubble Balls were inflated and students could wear them like a suite of armor.

Wearing the Bubble Balls, students kicked around a soccer ball trying to score a point in the nets.

It proved to be challenging because just staying upright while running was a task in itself.

Peninsula Pirate Goalie Nick Johnson decided to give volleyball a try while wearing the oversized plastic outfit.

A t-shirt tie dying station offered white Pirate Proud logo shirts to be transformed into works of art.

Peninsula College President Luke Robbins was sighted eating lunch with students and talking with Athletic Director Rick Ross.
