It should be closed because our country shouldn’t spend so much money on Guantanamo Bay.

It should be closed because it’s not regulated by anyone other than the military and they have been known to abuse their power.

I think it should be closed because i think some rather inhuman and cruel things have historically been done there.

I dont know anything about Guantanamo Bay. All I know is that it houses some of the worst criminals in the world, so I think it should remain open.

Guantanimo Bay should be closed because I believe that we should scale back our duties as the world police.

I think it should remain open because it’s useful, although they do need to change how they do things. They can’t keep waterboarding people over and over again. It has its purpose, but it can be fixed.

  1. It should remain open because bad people held there want to kill us. Bad people all over the world want to kill us, and they should be put there, too. Gitmo is the finest military detention facility on earth. There is no moral equivalent between the U.S. military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and the way our enemies treat detainees. Until all Islamists are dead or no longer have the means or will to kill us we must defend ourselves and Gitmo is a small piece to that big puzzle. 710 detainees have been RELEASED from Gitmo, and NONE have been executed, beheaded, hacked to death, blown up, dragged naked and lifeless through the streets, drowned or burned alive.
