Lady Pirates come up short

The Lady Pirates suffered their first loss of the season to the Bellevue Bulldogs on Saturday. The final score was 65-61.
The Bulldogs dominated in total rebounds with 54 to the Lady Pirates 41.
Jenise McKnight lead the Lady Pirates with 16 points. She also grabbed seven rebounds, stole the ball twice and added two assists.
Anaya Rodisha scored 14 points and pulled in seven rebounnds.
Yamilei Rodriguez scored 14 points and took in three rebounds.
Alicia Dugan scored the majority of her 12 points from the free-throw line. She made eight out of nine attempts, shooting 89 percent.
Sephora Yayouss took in six rebounds,  two steals and two assists.
With a league record of 3-1, the Lady Pirates are in a four-way tie for first place in the North Devision. The Lady Pirates play Skagit Valley tonight at 5:00.
