“It is my goal to show our college and commu- nity that the ASC is more than just an event plan- ning committee,” Camp- bell said.

One of her goals for the coming year is to open a food pantry on campus for students struggling to meet their food costs. She said she’s been work- ing on the idea with the Business Club, and hopes to have the pantry up and running in the next year.

VP – Programming

Casandra White, an athlete, was a part of the Interact Club, a commu- nity service organization that’s an extension of the Rotary Club, at her high school in Modesto, CA.

There, she was also vice president of the Na- tional Art Honors Society.

She also pointed to bet- ter event advertisement as a way to increase student involvement, as well as listening more to student feedback.

“If students enjoy the events, I know that I am doing my job,” White said.

She said the ASC works well as a team, and she hopes to hold on to that.
