Hordes of gourdes haunt the PUB; Zombie “thriller” flash mob

From a distance, it looked as if students were just cutting holes in pumpkins and pulling guts out to replace them with candle light.
Ceramics tools added another level of strategy to Makenzie Pick’s pumpkin art. Disregarding the creepy faces, Alison Hunt went with a toothless approach. Her Toothless and Hiccup silhouette from “How to Train Your Dragon” became a favorite piece, and even won 1st place in the competition.
Ceramic tools weren’t the only creative flare in the PUB. During the costume contest Halloween afternoon, Little Georgie’s red balloons, Traveling Fawns, and a lady viking made guest appearances.
Fenrir Humphrey took first place in this year’s competition as a Traveling Fawn.
As festivities from the costume contest slowed down, a zombie in a bloody wedding dress was seen creeping into the room unannounced.
However, this Zombie wasn’t alone. Following closely behind, zombies in bathrobes and safety officer uniforms slowly meandered into the PUB.
After the gathering throughout the room, the horde of brain hungry monsters broke out in a flash mob dance to “Thriller.” In surprising speed for a zombie, the crowd dispersed as if it had never been there.
