The Pirates’ women’s basketball team helped run the 5k fun run at the Port Angeles Crab Fest on Saturday, October 6. They raised approximately $2,500, according to Coach Ali Crumb.
She said the money would be used for travel to games, recruiting and emergency equipment repair or replacement. The next scheduled fundraiser will be the spring basketball camp.
“I hope that our camps can be on the same level as the soccer academy that our teams work with. It would be a great way to generate revenue and establish a fanbase,” said Crumb.
