After deliberations, the Associated Student Council selection committee, comprised of current ASC President, Steve DeVoe, and members of other student organizations, has elected three new officers, for the 2015-2016 school year. Current ASC Vice President, Sydney Roberts, ran unopposed and won the position of ASC President.

“I’m ecstatic and looking forward to being more involved, and bringing new and exciting events to campus. I’m excited for what the new year brings, and building the community of Peninsula College. I want Peninsula College to be a place where students can learn, but also where they can let off steam between classes, connect with each other, and enjoy themselves,” Roberts said.

Zachary Hoskins was elected as ASC Vice President.
“Considering that I jumped into this, all really last moment, under advice of a few people, it’s a little bit overwhelming, but I’ll do as good of a job as I can. I believe I’m coming into this position with a fair amount of past leadership experience,” Hoskins said.

Kennady Whitehead takes over as the ASC Vice President of Programming.

“It’s a good, exciting feeling, knowing I’m going to be involved with Peninsula College in a way in which I can help other students be involved in the school,” Whitehead said.

These newly elected officers will participate in the spring budget development process, followed by a planning meeting, and will then officially take office in July.
