Nature as a ‘RockStar’ dominates Tidepool Winners for 2023

Rockstar by Jude Stigler

Tidepools magazine is pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 art, photography, writing, and music contest.

Thank you to everyone who submitted their work for consideration and to the judges who volunteered their time to review this year’s submissions. We are grateful for the community’s continued support of the arts.

Contest winners will receive notification, including instructions to claim their prize, via the email listed on their entry form. All winning entries will be published in the 59th issue of Tidepools slated for release in early June. Contributors are also invited to present their work with the community at the launch party tentatively scheduled for the evening of June 2.

About Tidepools

Tidepools Magazine has been published annually at Peninsula College since 1964 and features original art, photography, poetry, prose, and music created by residents of the North Olympic Peninsula in Clallam and Jefferson counties in Washington State. Tidepools is created in collaboration by Peninsula College students who edit, design, layout, and publish the magazine while learning about publishing, marketing, community relations, and gaining an appreciation of literature and the arts. Tidepools is made possible with support from the Associated Student Council, the Peninsula Daily News, and The Buccaneer.
